Recco

Terms of use

Last updated 17 October 2026

By using Recco you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

Your content

You own the reviews, comments, lists and photos you post. You give us permission to store and show them in Recco to the people you chose to share them with, only to run the app. You can delete them at any time.

Community rules

Don't post anything that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes someone else's rights, and don't spam, impersonate others or share someone's private information. Mark spoilers as spoilers. We may hide or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report any review and block any person in the app.

Titles, images and scores

Title information, posters and scores come from third-party catalogues such as TMDB, OMDb, JustWatch, Open Library, Google Books, Deezer and Steam, and belong to their owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability is provided by JustWatch and may be out of date.

The service

Recco is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or end features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

App stores

If you got Recco from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Email reccotheapp@gmail.com or use our support page.
